me vs a 4th gen VTEC lude

Well, i had just got done talking to a guy with 69 camaro 350 in it... I beat him from 40-80 .. he said he had it in 3rd at 40, and if he had his nitrous on, he could run 11.50... I dunno.. Anyway, on my way home, i saw a black 4th gen prelude behind me.... About 2 miles down the road, we both got to a stoplight... He gave me a smile, i gave him a nod... Light turned green, we both had ok launches... up to 30 we were dead even, then up to 50, he had his door by my left wheel, up to 80 we were dead even again... Then i started to pull on him... But up to 100 his door was at my left wheel again.. So i am guessin he was pretty much even with me.... that has got to be the best race I have been in, we were pretty much even... What do 4th gen VTEC ludes run in the 1/4 stock anyway? however i dont think he was stock....

a prelude vtec 92-96 runs 15.1 1/4 mile and if you have an ex then
you run like high 16s
so ethier hes messing w/ you, doesnt know how to drive or youre full of ish! :) prolly the one of the first two!

I keep forgettin to put in my sig "b18b1 ls" because i used to be "hybrid boy" so people used to know what engine i had, till i ggot banned lol..


I have a 95 b18b1, AEM CAI installed, DC Sports 4-2-1 header installed, 2.25' piping with Apexi universal N1 w/silencer installed.... I havent dont my intake manifold yet.. I dont trust myself to put that on, cant reach the rear bolts... I have had that intake man since feb!!!!

No, i clearly read the VTEC badge on the right rear of his car under his tailight.. he was a VTEC, i dont think he was stock.

id rather have NOTEC than a SOHC VTEC w a whopping 127hp :D I love VTEC, dont get me wrong, but im going to keep my LS, maybe turbo later.... I wish lol

um... no, ok, if you are going to be picky, it was under and to the LEFT of his tailight :rolleyes: it was not directly under it

The sticker would still be in the wrong place. The DOHC VTEC sticker is above the left taillight, not below it. So the lude you raced was a faker, he was probably an si.

I retract my previous statement, the sticker placement I refered to is only on the 5th gens.

I have a friend with a 4th gen lude that i guarantee is vtec because i have been under the hood seen the vtec solenoid driven it and felt and heard it kick in. On my friends car the dohc vtec sticker is where honda boy said it was. I think you guys are thinking of the 5th gen ludes

are the 94-95 prelude vtec's pretty fast with mods? do they mod well? how would a prelude run in the 1/4 mile with i/h/e?

close battles are always the best ones especially if you're the underdog or they think your car is any worse than theirs o of course you have to beat them then :D
