What about posting a pic of a car thats got some body damage (big dents, busted windows, flat tires, etc) and see if we can photoshop it back to life?

Just a suggestion.

and then people take front ends from a fucking jaguar or a fucking BM W and slap it on there without e ven trying and win!!...........wont work u nless these assholes stop "front end conversions", i think the only reason ppl dothose all the time is bcuz they dont know how to do anthing else

I like the idea. If the majority votes to ban 'front end conversions', so be it.

i agree to the fact that front end changes are pointless, i only did it on this contest as i knew many others were too, even tho i knew i wouldnt win, i just threw it on and changed the color, no skill needed.

lets ban front end changes in the next contest.

Here's the problem I see: How exactly do you define a front end change? If I take the headlights and grill from another car, is that bad? Or do I just have to let the 'contest car' show through between them? Where do we draw the line?

Fundamentaly, I don't see anything wrong with front-end swaps. Like you said, there is a huge grey-area surrounding full/partial swaps. I think that either way, it takes the same amount of skill and patience to do either of them well, and that is what the contests should be based on.

Personally, if I post a chop, I don't give a rip if anyone else likes it (But if they do, that's nice too). If I posted it, that means that I'm proud of it and I had fun doing it. That's all I'm in it for. After all, it's not like the "winners" are really winning anything. I have nothing to gain (or lose) by posting my work.

Front end chops arent too bad. The way I see it, you're adding your own style or just plain creating somthing. Whether its easy or not, or whether its a cliche thing to do doesnt matter to me. Its all in good fun :p
