is it best to wait until you have done most of your mods to your car before you get a new ECU? Don't they reprogram it for the mods you have done? I have looked at the Technosquare site and Iknow there are certain things they do automatically (ie. rev limiter, governor removal, fuel mapping, etc.) If I bought one for my car with just exhaust work done and Joe Nissan bought one for his car with exhaust, headers, y-pipe, intake, cams & more, do we get the same product or is Joe Nissan's modified to suit his needs?

OK you lost me. If I get the ECU reprogrammed and the battery is disconnected for 30 minutes is is reset to factory default. Something doesn't sound right there.

actually what JWT does is reprogram ecus... you send them your ecu and they reprogram and send it back within a week or so..
with regards to mods, i think the main thing they do is change the air/fuel mixture so if u have intake/exhaust/y then there might be more adjustment compared to someone with just intake.
