Alright, I know the prelude tiptronic isn't all that reliable, but is it possible to use the tiptronic tranny with a clutch, in a 4th gen? I'm not really sure if I'd want to do this, but its a thought thats crossed my mind simply b/c i've never seen it before. Has anyone ever seen something like this setup, or will it not even work???

It all depends on whoes driving, if its somewhat babied then it could last a LONG time. If mantience is performed regularly and its not abused, it could last a long time.
With that said, dont do it. Even tho it could be reliable, WHY wouldnt you want to when you could have a 5 speed?

I don't plan on doin it I was just curious to know if it would work. Yea I heard they were garbage too, but nobody has it, and it would be unique, but like I thought, essentially useless

no one has it because they are smart enough to know better.
