cant figure out whats wrong! pls help!

I was replacing the radiator fan with the same part but from the ls model,(mine is an es) but the new one didnt have the wire and connector that plugs into the bottom of the radiator. it only had the power wire. I tried to start it like that but all it did was turn over and wouldnt start. so i put the old one back in and it is doing the same thing. a buddy told me to try replacing spark plugs cause they might have gotten wet with gas but that didnt help at all. now all it does is turn over,can anyone help?

i take you have a 1.8l, im not sure what your talkin about when you say " the new one didnt have the wire and connector that plugs into the bottom of the radiator" and it only had the power wire? thats all it needs. nothin is supposed to plug into the radiator, IT bolts to the bottom and top(of the rad) and has a power connection ran near the top thats all it should have. check the following- ALL IGNITION components, intake piping to make sure its clear of any blockage, injectors (elect. connections), new fuel filter and the last thing i can think of is the cat. converter bein clogged or bad o2.
