Blower motor speed

My blower motor runs only at high speed. Picked up a used resistor module and now the motor barely runs. Found the original had a jumpoer added to make it run. Does this imply climate control switch problem? Or did I pick up another bad resistor module/ Or any other ideas?

I would bet you picked up a bad resistor, but I've also changed the fan speed switch on a '99 after it melted down. You may want to pull the switch out and take a quick look at the plugin.
