well since people are saying thats its possible, i want to know what it would take to put the k20 into of a miata, or generally a front wheel drive engine into a rear wheel drive car, yes i know a lot of money, but i'm just wondering

didn't we already establish that it'd take a lot of money and fabrication to fit the K20 into a Miata. If you really want to waste money, go for it! I think if you're going to swap anything into a Miata....go for the 13b TT!! That has a lot more power than a K20 and is RWD and its f**kin cheap! IDK why we're still talking about this but w/e.
If you really wanted to do it you'd have to get the front clip off of an RSX or something and basically transplant it onto the Miata. After that, you'd have to get a new rear suspension for the Miata. It would be POINTLESS and take more money than you have!

or be smart and put an f20c (s2k engine) in it for the same price of the engine. i think u can get ahold of that engine for around 5-6k with engine. its been done before too.

how about swapping a cheap 13b TT rotary?? The whole damn swap is only like $1300. It also makes like 280hp. If, and now this is a big if, but if you were going to do this, the 13B would be the way to go...IMO!!

yea but there's a lot of work in a 20b, first its auto only, so you'll need to find a transmission off a 13b (it does actually bolt straight on) i dont think 20b's are too common either, so you'd have to search for one too. more trouble than its worth. besides, you can get like 280bhp ATC from a stock 13b. 'nuff said.
