balance shaft removal

So I'm trying to remove my balance shafts right now. It's a 95 turbo. Does anyone know what size freeze plug to use for the front shaft? According to dsm.org it's a 40mm plug but it looks way to big.

I used the stock sized freeze plug.

There's two freeze plugs though. I think it might be the smaller 35mm plug. They're not that expensive so I'll just go buy one.

I just went and put the calipers on the hole where the balance shaft was, it measured 35mm.

Yeah, I ended up getting a smaller one and it worked. Thanks for checking though. Damn dsm.org.
