my baby died :(!!!!

i was driving down the highway from vestal, got into the left lane to let merging traffic on, a guy pulled in front of me (cut me off basically) i slammed on the breaks, skidded, tried to pull into the other lane, he stopped dead in his tracks in front of me, i slammed into him............... he was driving a big huge yukon thing..so his truck is fine, minus some scrapes on the bumper

That sux man, but it doesnt look too bad... Is there any actual major damage, or is it just the hood/fender/bumper?

Will your insurance cover that?

airbags didnt go off, i was only going like, 20.. i had skidded to a complete stop the first time, and started going again..then he decided to stop. 2 people from work saw it (one was a friend of mine, who stayed w/ me the whole time) and another was a manager..they saw it happen, and they can attest that it was totally his fault :/

Sorry dud, it seems that you have some serious damage of your radiator support and left side support. the radiator support is no biggie, i went through 3 already, but the side looks like it might have some serious damage. Is the strut tower OK? Depending on the amount of damage, that car might not see the road again.
if insurance will pay, you can get some goodies for it.

i got a ticket for uninsured operator...gonna be a pretty stiff fine i imagine.....as for the accident, no one did...tho i think he should have, for wreckless driving or something... he cut into my lane, then hit his breaks...i stomped on mine, skidded, he started to go, so i let off the breaks, i tried to get into the next lane...looked over, looked back, he came to a complete stop on the highway...bewm.
the cop was really really cool... he was complimenting my car and stuff, said it looks (looked..) really nice, and he was givin me ideas about what to do and stuff..im REALLY going towards a teg convo.

the cop was mad cool actually, which suprized me....vestal cops are vultures. he was saying "man, i see you've been doin stuff with your car....and it looks really good..dont worry about it, you can get it fixed, or if not, you can get another for pretty cheap, and use the stuff you have...or just sell the stuff you have, that'd leave you a nice chunk of change to put towards a new one.." we talked for a few..he was a nice guy.. also gave me an extra week before the court date (For the uninsured operator ticket :() he said he could have done it in 5 days...but he wanted to give me time to get some stuff together.
all in all, it sucks, bad. but what can i do..my parents are gonna help me, and ive already saved a couple hundered from my paycheck to start into the fine...which im sure will be pretty big :(
no H22 for me, too much to deal with..im thinking b16b, or b18c.. maybe b20 vtec, but we'll see. i thought about getting a CF hood, new lights, fenders, etc... but i really like the idea of a 'teg convo. ive never seen anything like that around here..

like they say power is nothing without control, what kind of brakes you got on there? If you modded the engine you should have started with big cross drilled and slotted brakes. They will save your ass and look very nice: www.brembo.com

my condolances on the car, i hope you get it repaired better than new

stock breaks, new shoes..no real engine mods, intake / exhaust basically. no power adders. and honestly, 20mph is 20mph any way you look @ it, power or not...i had skidded to a stop the first time, about 4-5 feet i think..hit him after we had started going again.

I know bigger brakes are good, but wouldnt good ABS be better? Who cares how big your brakes are, if they clamp hard enough to lock the tires, your not going to stop as soon as you would if your tires weren't locked...

This is just one of those many things that have confused me for a while :P
