Its a TV.... for watching TV. Like videos and shit. If you really want one, go for it, but I think that $800 or whatever is way better spent on a 20g.

dsmlink runs on a laptop. A data logger runs on a palm pilot. If you have dsmlink you don't need a seperate data logger. And what the fuck is a palm-pilate?!?

DSMlink will run on a laptop or a palm device ;)
I have been pricing parts to build a car PC to run DSMlink. I'm getting old, and laptops flying around the car while driving, getting stepped on by oblivious friends/wife, attracting hoodlums, etc, is starting to piss me off.
Micro ATX board, single din or similar case, 12 volt power supply, laptop memory (shorter) and hard drive (vibration/shock resistance), and slot load CD drive should do nicely. You can get them over one ghz. Slow as hell compared to the 3.4 prescott overclocked to 4.1 ghz unit that I type this sweet post on, but far more than DSMlink needs to run, and play MP3s, etc. They have single din slide out touch screens for ~500 too. The EVO has two DIN slots, the upper would house the screen naturally. The lower will either house a radio if I ever get one, or the PC, not sure yet.
I'll get around to it someday, and post some info about it naturally. But some careful googling will provide plenty of info over time.
