oil pressure reading

need to know what the oil pressure reading for 2001 chevy venture should be. Started out at 70 now at 7 even after i changed oil , when oil change light came on. reset light but still shows up as oil change needed

That is not the oil pressure you are reading it is the oil monitor life indicator. The oil life monitor will start out at 99 and go down as the engine gets nearer needing a oil change. You need to reset the oil life monitor when you change the oil as stated in the owners manual.

Thanks, why did i think it was oil pressure, what an idiot, here im thinking oil pump problems. Boy what a relief
