just bought 95 maxima, oil dipstick wont come out, please help

i just bought a 95 maxima from a provate seller, and i tried to check the oil the other day and the yellow handle oil dipstick will only come out about an inch, im not sure if theres a long plastic piece that helps hold it into the check oil hole, but with the inch that i can move it, there seems to be a black piece all the way around the inside of the hole.

im not sure if it broke off in there or what

any ideas?

One idea is to pull the whole tube off for inspection, first loosen its attachement bolt down there on the engine block. Jack car up, prop it properly, take driver side shield off, and peek in...

i pulled on that thing for a good 10 mins, then i came and wrote the question to you guys, i went back out maybe an hour later and within a minute i pulled it out, turns out that the rubber at the top of the dipstick broke off in the tube......just going to have to get another dipstick thats all
