Audi beats BMW

On a recent showing of Motorvision in tests of the new A4 against the 3 series (the A4 won in speed but the engines were the small gas efficient euro spec models so im not talking engine right now) they ruled the A4 the better handler and overall without a doubt. anyone who has seen that episode and would like to add, feel free. Just wonderin what you guys thought about the AUDI topping the Bimmer and will now be the best small sedan.

Audi makes great cars, no doubt. The Lexus IS300 is awesome too. But the BMW 3 will always be the best. :D

It's been around for so long, BMw knows eveything about what people what so that's why it's the best.

second comes acura tl type-s. pretty good for a competitor to bimmers. nothing beats a three though.

i don't believe that it tops a 3.... BMW has too much experience

They are so close, I wont call it until I drive it or see more info. Otherwise, both are excellent. this is a very hotly contested field, with many exceptional cars.

The new A4 is very different from pervious A4. The new CVT tranmission improves performance and fuel mileage over previous conventional automatic tranmission.

I don't know anythin about the new one... the whole time i've been comparin it to the 2000 and under ones

Well the new one comes out this fall. So maybe you should start comparing it to the new generation.

is the new 3 series out yet?

There is no new 3 series. There is only a minor face-lift version. I believe the current model life for 3 series runs till 2004.

i don't like how that "face lift" one looks
