1995 Passat fog lights

How do you turn on the fog lights on a 1995 Passat Wagon? I have turned the light switch and pulled it out also, but the fog lights do not come on. Are they activated by a sensor? I do not have an owners manual as I bought the car used.

thats what i do to get mine to come on...mybe the bulbs are blown??

i have the same problem, i have front fog lights fitted but cant see how to turn them on! to work the back ones i pull the switch out and they come on but the front ones dont, anyone know why they are fitted if they dont work?

I can't figure out how to turn mine on I have them but the light switch doesn't pull out and there is no symbol on the instrument cluster that would tell me they were on, however there is an unused LED on the cluster

my fogs come on no prob. just turn and pull must be the bulbs
