I have the opportunity to buy an engine block and the guy says its been bored .040 over. What does this mean to me? What does this do to the displacement? Its a sweet deal and I think im gonna snag it. I just wanna know what this does to the engine.

That would make your 350 a 356.87939639424 or easier 357 cubes

the highest i can remember ever hearing a 350 bored was .060 which to me would mean that if you ever had to have it bored again there wouldnt be a whole lot to work with but then again if you're getting it cheap i'd go for it...i've got a 305 laying around just because i got it for $25

how much power can a stock crank handle in an l98 motor? That and since it has 2 bolt mains right now, whats my limitations with that? Should I get a 4 bolt conversion kit? Heres another question...would one of those converted lt1 intake manifolds(www.lt1intake.com (http://www.lt1intake.com)) support 400-500hp? Id like to stick with fuel injection and $1300 for a super ram is way to much imo.
