This is going to sound REALLY sad....

Any number of people are going to take the piss at this question but here goes:
I'm after some general engine specs so i can learn the basics etc, preferably with pictures as its easier to memorize.
Also want to know what everything does!
Does anyone know where i can get these things on the net?

Its actualy VERY simple. On the .22 I used to use there are two small prongs in the end of the bolt that grab the side of the shell casing and pull it back far enough for it to be ejected.
There are other systems, like bits that push back from the back of the barrel etc etc...

all you need is somthing that works with the mechanism to push or pull the casing back far enough for it be ejected by what ever means.

I understand that part, but I need to find out how rotary motion (on the bolt handle) turns into reciprocal motion (of the bolt).
