So the old lady wants to take a trip either over the Sarnia border or the Windsor border this weekend for shopping... anything interesting for me, since I'll be doing all the driving? :loser: Anyone live around this area or have visited and can suggest something neat regarding either models or real life cars to check out? Perhaps an automotive or racing museum?

Ah! Is that the one I saw? It is an automotive museum right? Worth checking out?

R&m auto restoration is a world class restoration business. the museum isnt the biggest but they have alot of very nice rare stuff. they have built i believe 2 pebble beach winneres, they have a couple tuckers, cords etc. Muscle cars too . worth a look.

Figures... for the life of me I couldn't see it on the way TO Windsor... only saw it on the way back when it was closed :( ... I'll have to go some other time, thanks for reminding me about it though...
Tamiya models are definitely cheaper in the states though... found Rider's Hobby in Detroit, had tons of great stuff, picked up a Porsche 911 GT1 kit for $27 usd, so maybe $35 cdn... same kit at my LHS is like $50 :D
