replace rear axle seals 97 f150

rear axle seals are leaking. How do i replace them and is it difficult?

Remove rear end inspection plate and remove spider gear pin and small spider gears and the push in on axel and remove U clips on end of axel.
Remove wheels and brake drum and pull the axel out.
Then you will see the rear axel seals. Pop the old ones out with a pry bar or large screw drive or exc.
Then take a flat seal driver and drive in the new ones.
and put it all back together.
While the axels are out look at the bearing surface on them. If worn out or ruff or cut up you may need a axel saver axel bearing.
And check and/or clean greese off of rear brake shoes and drums.

hi. i'm postin here because my dad has a 98 f-150, and his rear axle is making this aanoying niose when criving in the highway and we tried to remove it, but since i'm into the import/sport cars, i have no experience with the f-150, i tried researching, but this is the only one that i could find helpful, but i would like to know if anyone knows of any website with instructions and pictures? any help will be apreciated,

Also type in auto zone on a web search they sometimes have some info of it.
