I have owned a 94 bonneville for one year, paid 2 grand. A sporatic clunking noise that i thought to be a joint or bearing turned out to be the frame giving way under rust. Figures my luck, I've worked on cars/trucks more than most girls so it's hard for me to think I can't do something. A couple of opinions I got all say tow it to the junk yard and take what they give. Any other suggestions/thoughts. thanks

My '88 Bonneville did the same thing. These cars are susceptible to rust where the front subframe bolts to the unit body just behind the front wheels.
If you were to continue driving this car, your steering would seize up or worse.
These cars are not particularly expensive used, so its likely not worth fixing. A wrecking yard might give you $100.
Try selling it as a parts car or sell parts off it. Also you might keep an eye out for a rust free Bonny that is going cheap because it needs parts that your car can provide.
