A relatively simple problem... you would think!

Problem: Yesterday my 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter) in the ashtray stopped working. The courtesy lamp that lights up the ashtray when you turn the headlights on stopped working as well.
I took it all apart and did some troubleshooting. No pinched wires and all connections are clean. I tested for voltage at the outlet and lamp... nothing.. like a dead circuit. I followed the wires to see where they lead and they go into a main harness and from there, who knows. There is no fuse in the fuse box for this component either.
So... can someone tell me what this could be? Is there a relay for this that has gone bad and if so... where is it located? I use this power outlet alot for many 12V items, so its kinda important to get it fixed. I know I can go to the autoparts store and by my own 12V auxiliary outlet and wire it in, but I would like to get this one fixed. Any help would be appreciated.

I checked the fusebox and there is no ACC fuse, however, the park lamp fuse was blown which also affected the panel lamps and cigarette lighter/dome. Put in a new 20 amp fuse and all is well! The panel lamps have their own 5 amp fuse which is the primary circuit and are wired into the park lamps as the secondary circuit. The lighter/dome is wired into the park lamp circuit as the primary only.
