Okay, I am new to this and sorry if this has been brought up before. When I start my car its fine and when I go to slow down, its the in between that is killing my car. I have an '89 Accord LXi and sometimes if I step on the gas to fast or floor it to get it to go my RPM's will get stuck anywhere from 3 to 5 1/2 while I am going anywhere from 20 to 45 mph. I don't know what to do. Do I need to have my fluids flushed or is there more that I can do? Please help me.

Melissa Sounds to me like your throttle is sticking. With the car off have someone use the gas pedal as you watch the throttle arm on the throttle-body. See if it is sticking. if it is a cleaning and re-oiling is a must.

Check it out and get back to us.

PS: if you can't remember when you last changed your fluids it is about time!
