How to take factory sticker out

I would like to take the factory CIVIC DX rear sticker out. I tough I can just scrap it with my fingers and i will come out, but I was wrong. I don't want to screw my paint, so any suggestions?

i dont see how you could mess up paint w/ your fingernail. If you use a rezor or sandblaster, yes you will ruin the paint, but not fingernail.

well if you do decide to scratch it out make sure you can take it out completely...
I had some stupid parking sticker on my windshield in a bad position and was barely able to get it out completely

I don't know about 5th gen, but with my 6th gen, I just took some fishing line and slid it around the back to cut through the adhesive. I did it on a hot and humid day so it was easy. I have heard of people using blow dryers to heat up and loosen the adhesive first.

I took off the remaining adhesive with an adhesive remover, but WD-40 would work too.

You might want to wax that area, after you take off the emblem, because the adhesive remover may have stripped some wax.

I used a blowdryer to remove my stock emblems but it took me forever and a day to heat it up enough... but it came off real easy.

goo gone and floss. comes off like butter...

i used a bow dryer to get the sticker off then the but it left the sticky so i got some adhesive remover and shwing nice and clean
