ok, i need some help, i was stupid one day and wired my foglights a hardwire directly from the + side of the battery, NO IN-LINE FUSE!! (quite stupid)... well i got it ran to where it was going, and i needed like 1 inch more so i could wire it to the switch.... 1 INCH!!, so i pulled a lil, then i quess it cut the insulation and grounded out and kinda welded itself to that spot... so now i fried my tach wire rite at the firewall, like right where it goesfrom the inside to the engine bay.. all i need to do is soder the two wires back togeather and itl be fine... but i dont kno how to detach the whole wiring harness and pull it through the hole... does anyone know how to do that?
any help would be great! thanks!

Yes I can help.
You will have to unplug all the plugs on that side of the car at the shock tower......
There is a rubber grommet right at the firewall.
Look uner your dash behind your fuse box in the corner.....
Sounds like it would be easier to solder it inside the car and just feed a new wire through to the engine bay.
Good luck

well, i spent 2 hours doin it last night, i ended up unpluging both plugs inside the car, feeding them through the firewall, pulling them past all that junk, then i sodered them back togeather... there were 3 wires all melted togeather... dont kno what they went to, but i fixed them all....
thanks for your help, i havent had a tach in 5 months... kinda sucked.
