Damn! Stupid stones on the road put a hole in my radiator!!!
And i was thinking of putting some mesh on my civic soon, just didnt really know how(?) Umm...someone help?!?
Do u think its worth buying a radiator from a junk yard or get a new one?! Or maybe i'll just use some of that radweld stuff....
But i've taken a look at my radiator....its pretty bad....
so what do u guys think?
1) Get a old one from a junk yard
2) Get a new one (arghhhh lots of $$$$$)
3)Try and fix my old one?!
oh...hahahaha, i cleaned my k&n panel filter yesterday, and the noise my engine is making is quite awesome, deep throaty sports sound, its quite cool! I'm running a dual carb by the way! :)
Thanks for reading! :)

I just got a fluidyne. it's pretty damn nice. larger than the stock one, pretty much takes a turbo out of the equation with the b16.

I guess its much bigger and supposedly kools the car nicely. I wouldn't get it unless u have some mad power on ur car. If you don't have that kind of power then its not worth spending 400 bucks on the radiator. Keep looking for a new one. My bro got one for his accord for about 117 brand new with life time warranty.:)

I hate those stones too. One put a hole through my head light then bounced of my windshield and put a chip in that. of course I was going 90 when I hit it.
But back to the Q at hand. I would just get a new aftermarket stock radiator. I got mine for $150. If you get one from a junkit yard you don't know if it has a clog in it. Go New.

you can still get a used but upgraded radiator. Integra radiators are bigger and the del sol vtec radiators are smaller/thicker/dual core. You do live in the UK so I don't know your access to these but if you go to a salvage yard try to get one off a car that has a visable reason as to why it is in the junk yard. Such as being rear ended, side swiped, that way you know it wasn't an engine related problem, low miles can also help.

I don't know if they only do the US/Canada spec cars however.
Buy a new radiator.....not used. I am not a fan of the plastic/aluminum types (like stock) as they can't be repaired easily (if at all). Try and get a replacement that is the good old copper/brass variety.
