1996 Passat GLX
After driving to work my engine would not turn off. The key was turned to the off position, yet it was still running. Removal of the key still turned off radio and electronics, but not the engine. Fiddling and hitting the area does not help, unless someone has a more specific idea of what the problem is????
stalling and starting also does not help.
Any ideas before I start taking stuff apart??

Did you get the ignition switch recall repair done? If you haven't, call VOA, and ask them about it. Any dealer should do it no charge. That might just take care of it! Good luck!
