hmm. is it a remote that came with the cavy? or aftermarket. Does it have a hood pin switch? If so, usually you open the hood, press down the hood pin switch, and back up like, 3 times or something. I'm not quite sure. then when you do that, the headlights should flash. Then you will press a button on your remote, and all is done. I'm sorry i cant be more specific, but i'm not really sure of the situation.
