Problems with Tiptronic after installing new battery

I have '99 Passat V6 GLS and i had to change battery...after that check engine light went on and Tiptronic Transmission start acting wierd...when shifting between 1st and 2nd there is a pause( as if shift into neutral ) then hard re-engagement all of a sudden. Before battery change, everything was OK! Thanks

you need to re-adapt the throttle body. Try slowly depressing and releasing the gas pedal with car of key on. IF that doesnt work you will need the vw dealer to do it with the scan tool.

readapt throttle control,and reset kickdown posiiton with a factory scan tool 1551/5051/5052 amd its butter from there..
