2002 24 valve ruff idle Question

Hi Folks,
I just pruchased a 2002 Tauras with the 24 valve enging. The car has 36.650 mi. At idle, the cars feels like it has a bad plug and misses and you can feel the car stumbling but keeps running. As soon as I excellerate, the car runs great.
Sure would love to be able to trouble shoot this my self with any help from you listers would be Great !!

90% sure its a vacuum leak.

Thank you Dr. for your reply to my post. I have opened up the hood and listened for a vaccum leak while engine running and can't here any air sucking sounds.
Where would you suggest I start looking / listening for a vaccum leak?
