Why? doesnt that just totally take the experience of playing the game away? why not use a used car win a race here and there get some money do some mods win more then get the flashy cars. instead of entering a code to have unlimited amounts of money, or whatever you're wanting.

ive got to agree with deftonez24 cheat codes are for people who cant win without having the best car and cant drive good enought to get there license's in the game:finger:

Gee, I beat the game and all and didn't use cheat codes. Does that mean that if I use cheat codes now, I can't really play?:rolleyes: :rolleyes:

if you have beat the game then why do you need them it just seems week to me to use codes

Ok, sometimes codes and cheats are ok. When you're playing a game where you've tried everything and you cant solve the puzzle or cant beat the boss or whatever, then they might be ok. But i still think they shouldnt be used in a game like this, you drive and mod your car. seriously, how hard can it be?

I don't have a problem with cheats as long as you don't try and brag that you did the work when in actuality you didn't. After I've beaten a game, I'll get the cheats just so that I can do other things that I wasn't able to do because of the requirments of the game. Like GT3 for example, I beat the game and got 100%. So, I erased everything to start over again, this time with a lot of cash and other things. To be honest, like in Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero, the only cheats I've used was the money cheat. I hate winning the money little by little. But then, that's the purpose of the game.

My point is, if you need them, then use them. If you don't need them, challenge yourself. Don't go and brag about how easy you beat a game when you know you needed cheat codes to do it. That, I hate.

Right now though, feels good to have 10 Trillion dollars. All those that don't like it, bite me!!!:finger: :finger: :D :D j/k

what if you rented the game and only have it for a limited amount of days?

With GT2 I used a Dex Drive, so I had many saves one with codes (unlimited money, etc.), but I had that save for my online magazine. So I could buy the cars and test. Then I had another save for my normal stuff no codes.

But so far the PS2 I don't think has a Dex Drive, I hope they bring one out soon.
