Sweet car, love the black hood and tail. Also this picture is one of the best.

Now if the lighting in the background wasnt so bright, it'd be way better.

I have no idea what kind of camera you are using to take those photos....soo heres my critique of the photos. Damn Nice car for starters.

But, the background (sky) is overexposed.
Try to take the light meter reading off of the acutal car, or your hand, don't let it see the sky. If you are using a digital, it is easier because you can see instant results.

Need a smaller depth of field.
Use a smaller f-stop, something along the lines of idk, F 5.6 and a shutter speed of somewhere around 500-1000th/sec.

I would find a different background that isn't as "busy", Those trees and leaves are kind of distracting imho.

If you don't understand what the heck I just said, don't worry about it.

ya, i dont know if its for real, but the prev. owner was telling me that 400 was a low reading, he had a slip but he kept all of his racing stuff in his garage in a frame. ive actually never ran it at the strip yet, but i can definately see how it could, after driving it. considering all of the other mods i have done (770 street avenger carb, port, polish, total engine overhaul, total trannie overhaul, k&n air filter) i can imagine its more or less in the 450 range at this point. but i like to stick with a number that im a little bit more confident with. so i stick with the 400 hp. anyways... thanks for the tips guys, doesnt seem like there is many 2nd gen. camaro's here. is this true?

Yeah it's true, aside from you the only person with another 2nd gen is Jim, he has a 454 in his and its currently under repairs.

i was actually supposed to dyno it a few weeks back. but decided instead to go Pierre(capitol of south dakota) and watch NHRA action instead. next spring after i get lower gears, and a tougher driveline im def. going to run it. seems the 2nd gens are getting tougher to come by... i hope.

Yeah I dont get it, the 2nd gen even outsold Mustangs and all. Mostly it's because all of them are crapped out.

No, it's because some backwoods hillbillys could get them cheap, put some rims and glasspacks on them, got drunk and wrecked them all. jkg.

They aren't very common, I do see several of the the dumpy V6 ones though, and that's a shame cause obviously I'm partial to them. THEY'RE FUCKING AWESOME. I almost bought an 81 (Metallic Dark Blue on Black) and a 79 (sorta simlar paint job to Adam's but white instead of red). The 81 would have cost me 2K to get here and the 79 was around the corner... just a complete mess, stripped for racing.

Nice maro Adam. Mine is broke. Actually not wuite yet, but it's going to break if I drive it any more. Gotta get the $ to rebuild the trans, and needs engine work.... runs and drives, and will get sideways awful quick, but ... i don't feel like having to buy a new engine and trans... so it's parked until I save up to get the ones in there fixed. (Makes me want to cry.)

Yeah Jim, you got lucky in that Camaro you got, even though it's kinda broken right now.

Man I really love the 2nd gens too. I tried to get one a couple years back but I was little to slow. Now I am stuck with a v6 third gen.

ya, i was looking at an 86 trans am, or this camaro. decide for the camaro for a couple reasons including price, looks(3rd gen styling isn't my thing), and WAY more hp. also because it could easily be a street/strip car with a few mods. i love having a unique car. in town there is only 1 other like mine, and its dragged out. i find it funny how many people ask me what the hell kinda car is that? one guy in a Durango yelled to me at a stoplight "my grandma drives that car", i was like, well then your grandma has a bitchin camaro. oh well, i enjoy it... now i just cant wait to get bigger tires = more fun.

I"ll give you that adam, ain't no other cars like mine around. Most early 2gens I see are either councours restored, or totally pigged out.

Nothing turns heads like the deafening roar of opening it up.

[QUOTE=Earlsfat]ain't no other cars like mine around.

same here in my town im the only one with an i-roc theres a few shitty 3rd gens out there but nothing compared to what i got most of them are all rusted out and what not and by having the only i-roc in town that makes it the fastest i-roc in town SCORE
