Has anyone bought any performance mods from ebay? I have a 97 Maxima and Im thinking about a cold air intake, muffler, and coilover springs from there. You can find them all on ebay at great prices. Is the stuff crap? Or is it just a great deal? Thanks.

Yes and NO. Depends.
Most stock cars have crimped intake due to noise. 'Whatever' u do to increase air input, its always to the better performance. Mama doesnt like that... Air input makes most difference, thats why turbos use pwr from exhaust to pump air in... CAI: all cars nowadays are already CAI. Its nice jippo to sell. Only filter means shorter air input tubing, more high end pwr. An when u drive, all air is cold as temp under hood equals ambient.

swing over to maxima.org and visit the classifieds section. get some good brand stuff (second hand of course) for much less.
