Bay Area Meet, new date & location?

this is for all those who planned to go to the May 19h event:

there has been a lot of "e-mail tag" going on due to the event being rained out. i'm sure not everyone wants to get those e-mails, so i thought i would start this.

please don't e-mail me with any suggestions for the location. i live up in OR. i have actually never been to the bay area :huh: hopefully soon i'll get to check the area and some 4th gen's out soon :D

with that said, anyone have a suggestion for a date or location?

What about somewhere near the sacramento raceway, maybe we can set up some track time as well. Just a thought.

yeah i would want a meet up there, but for the first one i think it should be in the bay because thats where most people are. Maybe somewhere in fremont? or san mateo? i'll check places.

Too bad the last one got rained out. I know that park wasnt the greatest place to have it, but by the point i found it, i was just looking for something big enough. We need a place a little more well known so people dont have trouble finding it and stuff. Hopefully we can get place and it dont rain again. Lets get some suggestions here :)

Years ago when we used to race at night on Woodside rd..we would meet at the intersection of Woodside Rd and 35. Parking lot can hold at least 50 cars and local coffee shops and grubb is easily available. It would be a fun drive too on either direction...Although I haven't been there in years, they could have leveled that parking lot and built something, lol. Oops , Motorbikers hang out there too, so this may not be a good suggestion after all...These are my other suggestions...Linda Mar beach, Crissy field SF, Pleasanton Fairgrounds (is this open to the public?), any local in and out burger, Coyote Pt park in San Mateo:flash:

i think the meet just wasnt meant to be... everyone had car problems that week, then eventually it rained... my car started acting funny saturday night... ehp, oh well.... uhmm, next meet at uh....

hehe...krispy kreme, U C landing is hecka popular, but is also huge :)
