Tweeters

Where can i find tweeters for my 98' 3000GT SL, i have the infinity sound.

Hate to tell you this but your best bet is your dealer... The OEM tweeter is 2.5" which you won't find in the aftermarket because anything much above 1" won't produce sound above 20KHz.

It's probably cheaper to just go to a audio shop and change to aftermarket speakers...

I suggest JL... To my ears it's the best bang for the buck (almost as good as Alpine's type R for half the price)

Ya, the second day i got my 97 sl i blew both tweeters so i went to the audio shop and picked up two rodek tweeters for 30$, fabricated some brackets( sheetmetal, handsheers, and superglue)- b/c they wanted to charge 50$ to install them), and used the stock covers. they are so much better u basically have to turn the treble all the way down.

who replaces factory speakers, i know the cars come with decent speakers but to buy them from teh dealer would be silly, take a drive and replace them at an audioshop, ull be mcuh happier

um, JL makes some speakers that replace the ones on the dash, they fit and all. Don't know the exact model, but i remember that they work.
