Citation from the Police

Well i was in my college suite, just hanging around, when my suitemates start to play beer pong. I watch a few games, then ask to join in. I play literally 10 min, and drink one cup of beer before the door knocks. My suitemate checks and its the RA!

We quick stash all the stuff in their rooms and after a minute open the door. Shes pretty pissed by that time and has called the cops. We all have to wait for them to show, and they search all our rooms. They find the stuff in my suitemates room, but mine is clean. I get a citation anyway for Encouraging and Enabling, and Violating Visitor Rules (we told them that over 21yr old people brought the alcohol to the suite).

Now I have to call the dean tomorrow and meet, and also meet with my RA. This whole deal is ridiculously stupid and over exaggerated, and as my RA hands me the stuff, she says she still thinks we are good people and that if there hadnt been loud noise involved she wouldnt have done anything.

ARGH! I hate getting in trouble for stupid crap! :banghead:

Not trying to be mean or anything................but..............you do stuff you are not supposed to do......then get mad about getting in trouble. Sorry man. I learn that lesson a long time ago.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for getting caught breaking the rules, but I do have a suggestion. Move out of the dorms.

I was not the one who bought the beer, set up the game, decided to play in the dorms. I see what you guys mean tho, but i think they were over reacting a bit. Every other college ive visited is a lot less restrictive than mine, but i guess now i know.

Personally, i think the 2 guys who did it, and were found with it should have been punished, not me or this other guy who just happened to live in the suite with us, and not do anything.

Its not a real big deal tho, apparently for the first offense they will just say don't do it again, and let me off

Word of advice. Don't play beer bong in your fucking dorm room. Is it a "dry" campus? If so your lucky you didn't get kicked off campus. peace-

I can't say I feel sorry for you. But I do feel sorry that your RA is a dip-shit. My RA was bad ass, we could walk around with beer, liquor whatever as long as it wasn't visible by the hallway camera.

If your 21 you can have alcohol in the dorms, however no one was 21. Too bad I dont have your RA, Texas, but its not a big deal.

Im gonna talk to the dean in a few hours, but im almost positive they will just say dont do it again, because they cant prove i did anything wrong

I agree. Although my first two years was at community college, they had off campus dorms for both A&M and Blinn students. The first year I stayed at the dorms with two of my friends. I was against it until I moved in. Best thing I've ever done. You meet a lot of people and just have a blast 24/7....never studied *cough cough*. Damn, being outta college kinda sucks. *tear*, j/k.

Luckily no one was drunk, or that would have been a much bigger deal. The loudness came from the music being too loud.

I just talked with my RA, she said that we will be meeting with a judiciary, but that i personally won't have to worry, because no alcohol was in my room, i dont have any previous offenses, and they can't prove anything. I sort of wish i had gotten drunk or something, to justify all this hooplah. Right now i'm being penalized because my suitemates bought beer, and i happened to be there.

Here I must agree with Oz. We're smarter, therefore we think you're rightfully punished. Anyone caught is rightfully punished, it's how life works.

And I gotta say, if I lived on campus, I wouldn't had anywhere near the amount of fun i had off!!! :naughty:

Actually no. It wasn't a typo, since i usually proofread my writing.

Beer pong is a game that is usually played with 6 partially filled cups of beer formed in a pyramid on each side of a table, about the length of a ping pong table. It's played with 2 ping pong balls and the object of the game is to throw them in all the cups of your opponent. When you make a throw in one of theirs, they have to drink that cup. Winners keep going until another person or team of 2 beats them. Its a fun game, and the more drunk you get, the more fun the game gets.

On the side there is a water cup, thats used to wash the ball off if it falls on the ground. After a ball makes a cup, you remove that cup.

Just because you guys got busted right when YOU started drinking, that doesn't mean you weren't guilty too. I highly doubt that you were gonna stop after your first sip. You panzy.. wanting all your friends to get in trouble, but not you....

Learn how to be a real friend. And stop convincing yourself that just because you ALMOST got busted before you did anything wrong... that you didnt do anything wrong. Cuz you broke the rules too, and I think you should get in the most trouble for being a pussy about it. You had intentions, dont deny it.

Well i had my judiciary meeting today....

I got found innocent of all charges, while one suitemate was charged with having beer in his room, and another had beer and pot related stuff. they have to attend a class about it, and they get a strike.
