I never really thought about it, but the other day someone asked me what CRX stood for, and I had no clue. I hope this doesn't sound stupid, but what does CRX stand for?

it doesnt mean anything, its just a moniker like any other car. the civic rennasanice(sp?) is the biggest myth running around, so most people use that.

 Well, "NSX" named around the same time stands for New Sports car eXperiment. I always assumed "CRX" had a similar meaning, though I've suspected that the rest of Honda/Acura's alphanumeric monikers have just been gibberish.

my god.

Damn ignorant Americans!

The stormtroopers are clones based on the Bounty Hunter Janca Fett (Boba Fetts father) He is played by a NEW ZEALAND actor of MAORI decent by the name of Temuera Morrison.
:finger4:

Korean my arse!

Have you ever even seen a Korean? They look nothing like any Maori I have ever seen. (except the few ppl who are of Maori and Chinesse decent, who happen to be some the best looking ppl I know)

I guess you didn't see the clip that Laker posted. The link is bad now - probably too many downloads...

"The stormtroopers are clones based on the Bounty Hunter Janca Fett"

At the risk of sounding like one of those SW nerds, its actually Jango Fett, not Janca.

"Have you ever even seen a Korean?"
Hahah... have you ever seen my icon? That's my friend Rich's uncle, a Korean store owner who had to defend his store during the LA riots. Seriously.

As for the Maori, very interesting. I have to see if there are any Maori girls living around here! :D :D

It does indeed stand for Civc Renaissance Model-X........it was an introduction after the Civic Hatchbacks in 84. If only Honda would stop screwing around and revive the CRX the world would be a much better place

But the film was shot in Australia, so I guess they were Australian clones :D

Besides, it's only a matter of time before we steal Temura and make him Aussie - just like we do with all your other good actors :p

Heheh - it was so hard to keep a straight face in the movie when the Kiwi/Aussie accents kept popping up. :D

The whole Cinema cracked up when you first see the young Boba Fett.

"hey dad," sounded just like you were walking through a Northland town! :lol2:

And I know its Jango Fett, I just missed a key. :finger:

and sadly I did miss the link before it went bad, any one want to find it somewhere else or host it for me?
