I know, amazing huh?

Well I guess meeting up with Dinan and reading Cassiesman's shameless BMW whoring has finally led me to my purchase: E36 BMW 325is. Two door. Black on black leather. 5 speed. Sexyness.

I had to drive 5 hours to pick it up, but I got it for a great price from a female seller. Few issues to address, but that is being handled as we speak. Pictures to come SOON.

future mods
OEM m3 body kit
bilstein shocks on H&R springs (Working on it right now)
angel eyes
vader seats (sexy seats)
M3 contour rims & tires
eBay intake!!11!1oneone
custom exhaust
ltw flywheel and m3 clutch
i should stop there...

You know, I thought those bimmer owners were full of BS when they said women love it. They weren't. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/pimp.gif

It's nothing drastic...side skirts, front lip, rear diffuser...it looks sharp.

Yea, as a BMW guy, I dont really mind seeing an OEM M3 kit on an E36 3-series. It really helps the E36 looks better without being over the top. As long as you don't stick an M badge on your trunk, its ok with me. Similar to the M-Tech/ZHP kits on E46s.

New Guy- A BMW is a great purchase, they are simply great cars. Enjoy your ultimate driving machine. Come visit the BMW forums here on AF.

Agreed.
Also, I would never buy a car I thought needed a body kit. I would ask myself why I bought it in the first place if it didn't look good enough to me.

Not that is really matters anyways. Congrats on the purchase, you sound excited!!

Dunno about the M-Tech kit on a non-M car. Most bimmer guys will see that as "posing". Hell, I respect the hell out of de-badged M's. Not knocking on ya, but for the price of the OEM kit, you're better off spending it on the running parts of the car, either mod, or maintenance.

You'll have fun with her, man. I had an E30 325 back in the day, and that thing was a blast, though expensive to maintain.

but not all bodykits are solely for looks...

True. But most are.

Even the ones that aren't just for looks tend to be picked out depending on which one does look better of the performance kits.

Congrats on the buy you will love it. I kind of agree on the M3 kit thing though. I mean there are lots of other great looking E36 body kits so look around first. Plus it will make your car more unique.

Oh yea like someone already said save up for boost :evillol:

Nothing wrong with having speed in a pretty package.

Guess you didn't read my other posts.

I agree with your statement 100%. But at the same time, why not buy a car that is already to your liking?

Why not buy a car thats already fast enough?

Mr. Luos

I got both. :icon16:

No such thing as fast enough. But like you just proved, it is all in a matter of opinion.

UPDATE!

I hear your opinions on the m3 kit, and I would never badge my car as such, but the gray unpainted sideskirts GOT to go, ruins the look of the car. I'll get the bumpers/moldings all painted for now, and i'll see if that is an improvement.

However, just got these...

These are OCW 17x9" gunmetals w/ 2" polished lip. I plan to mount 245/40/17 Yokohamas all around....yes 245's, large to most cept Mr. Luos and Chevytrucks92......BTW, what tires will you run in the rears with your beast, Luos?

Other mods include alarm, some cosmetic, etc. so far.

Next task: suspension...
