WOW... That Stang is built Ford tuff. I can't believe that when they spun him around and tried pushing him backwards that his rear end or drive shaft didn't bust. It looked like it took some abuse but it didn't break...

If it were a Camaro it would only outrun the cop if it I had a turbo or superchaged LS1. Even then it would probably break down on the way.

LOL... I'm just kiddin. My friend has a 2002 Camaro LS1 with cold air intake and K&N air filter. That thing is real fast. He took it up to about 30 and jumped on the gas, it only made a "chirp" but he seemed to like it a lot. I really liked going from 30 to 70, it took no time at all.

I saw on the show COPS before there was an ex-police officer that stole a car and he knew all their moves haha.

I also saw a guy that was going the wrong way on the highway. Damn that would be some hard driving it would be the equivilant to passing cars at 200 mph.

That all makes for some really interesting television. But the worst I would have to say was when a little S10 was speeding up an off ramp. He was doing about 50 - 60 when he blew through the stop sign and he got broad sided by a big rig probably doing the same speed. It was not a pretty sight.

Yeah same here. Whoever that was he was good. Also do you think that when he hit the pole it shut off his car? I mean, I heard that newer cars have this system where when you git hit pretty hard by something, it shuts off your gas to your engine so you wont blow up, like in older cars. Funds to repair police vehilces that sustain damage from ANY activity where the veihcile is being operated by a police officer is paid for out of the poilce department's operating budget. I have never seen a "suspect's" insurance company pay for damage to a police cruiser... usually because the little camera proves that the "suspect" didn't cause the damage.

A friend of mine who has an 84 SVO Stang, with a swapped in 87 5.0 (225HP, something like that) says no matter i do to my car, i'll never beat his. NEVER! Can't convince him other wise. Told him, how im would build the motor, and gave an estimate in numbers and times. He says the car is stock pushing over 350hp, with headers. SMH.

Well i'm not deaf or blind. Maybe I just hang out with people who are better than that. I mean most of the people that I talk to have owned both a chevy and a Ford. I listen to the likes and dislikes of each brand. But me I'm an overall automotive fan. I try to view all cars on the same level. Most of the people that I talk to who have owned both a chevy and ford say they like the Ford more. I'm not putting chevy down whatsoever. Half of my family are die hard Chevy fans. But even the biggest one of all (my grandpa) said the best car he ever owned was a 63 Ford Galaxie with a 390. He's had nothing but Chevy's other than that.

My brother had a Mustang GT (I believe it was a 79 not positive about the year). I did a lot of work on it and I have to say some of the screw locations those ford guys come up with are very creative...

You should know that going into forums and talking trash is frowned upon here. Erik used to ban people for it so that is why your rarely see it. Muscletang (I think that's his name, mighta been GTStang, whatever ... Mustang Forum Moderator) used to do it a bit, and broke bad with everyone... he's one of the reason's Erik quit from what I understand.. although I could be wrong. So you don't see those guys coiming over here and trash talking anymore. Usually it starts out innocent and then someone misinterprets a post and then everyone gets mad and the thread gets closed and poeple get banned for being jerks... almost happened to me with Muscletang and 88rex.
