Hi there!! I'm new to this site so i hope i do this right. My daughter just purchased a 1990 Toyota Camry 4cyl. Its her first car. It was running great until both the tailights and brake lights stopped working. I had to use the 4ways this morning in the dark. My husband checked the fuses and said they were fine. I really don't want to take it to a garage cause i don't want to get ripped off. Could it be something else?? Also where can i get a diagram of the fuse box so i can check some things.Would appreciate any help you can give me.

Check the wiring inside the trunk by the driver's side trunk hinge. Open the loom there and test/look for broken or frayed wires. This is a common problem on these cars as the constant opening and closing of the trunk flexes the wiring there. Eventually, they do break.

Just wanted to let you know that my hubby removed the yellow box and sure enough that was the problem. Thanx so much to all.
