Just replaced plugs in my 01 V6 rodeo but still runs slugish. Everytime I drive it up to some nearby mountains it starts bogging down and sounds like a lawn mower going thru some thick wet grass. Thats on the road up before ive reached higher elevation. The check engine light will come on for a while then go of after 10 minutes or so. If I drive steep grades in town thers no check engine light that comes on. Dont get it but it always feels slugish.

What spark plugs did you use? You need to run Denso K16PR-P11 spark plugs on the 2000-2004 3.2/3.5. Other plugs will cause misfiring.

Those are the plugs I bought from the dealership.
It doesnt feel like its misfiring it just runs like something maybe needs to be cleared out. Maybe O2 sensor but I think thats out of my league to fix.

The right plugs takes that out of the picture then.. You will have to read the OBDII code(s) to see what is going on. Most autozones will do it for free, or you can pickup a generic OBDII code reader from harbor freight tools for $39 and read/clear codes yourself.
