95 grand am starter

i want to install a new starter on my car. i wanted to know how i can go about taking it out and what i should be looking for.

by the way it is a 1995 grand am gt 4 dr with a quad ohc engine 4 cylinders

Welcome. The starter on the quad motors is a miserable job. Its under the intake manifold. The bolts go into it from the transmission end, they aren't too difficult to get to. Getting the starter out involves some logistical planning, you have to twist it around to get it to clear the intake, engine block and radiator, it comes out the bottom of the car and goes back in the same way. i've taken out 2 of the bolts but i'm stuck on the third. i just cant seem to get to it. i took out the master bolt and one of the supporting bolts. the one i can't get to is the one that is under the intake manifold. any tips on what tool i should use or how i can go about finishing taking it out. i'm really stuck on this one. .
