Chrysler dealership trying to screw me..!!

I have a 1999 Concorde 2.7 that I had towed into the shop this past Friday.
I had a no start problem in that the starter would just click and click and click.
The car has a 3 month old battery in it which I took out and had tested at the local Autozone. The battery tested good which I suspected.
I tried jumping the car and I still couldn't get it to start.
When the tow driver came to pick it up he tried.. He tried quite a few times and it finally did start. The tow driver said he was sure it was the starter especially after I told him the battery was only 3 months old.
I had it towed in to the Chrysler dealership anyway because the starter is supposed to be covered under the extended warranty that I bought when I bought the car.
I talk to the service department today and they tell me that according to the diagnostics they ran the battery in the car is bad and it just needs replaced. The service manager says he even has a copy of the diagnostic sheet that says the battery is the problem.
Of course that isn't covered under my warranty. They say that I owe them $125 for the diagnostics.
I also figured I would have the service department look at my flickering oil light problem which I understand that there is a service bulletin for.
...The service manager says that he doesn't know of a service bulletin for that problem and he goes onto say that the only way they will look at that problem is if I can show them all of the receipts for all of the oil changes I have had.
The last time I took the car in to the oil change place they wouldn't even change the oil because of the flicker. So I ended up changing the oil myself.
Anyone have any suggestions..?
I'm not letting this place get away with this.. I know the service bulletin exists for the oil light flicker because I have seen it posted here on Automotive forums..
and as far as the starter goes... I'm positive it is the starter also....but I guess it is an intermittant thing so it is my word against theirs since they supposedly have proof that the battery is the culprit.
Again, any suggestions...what recourse do I have here..
I paid $1400 for this friggen extended warranty..what good is it doing me..

you just have to be strong with theses people. The dealr is used to dealing with people that aren't car smart. Obviously you have some smarts, so keep at them and don't let them get over on ya.

It is possibile that you may have had a dead cell in your 3 month old battery although testing might have showed a good battery, I've personally dealt with such a problem 3 times this year alone. All signs pointed to a bad starter or wiring i changed the starters only to be annoyed with the same problem, however replacing the battery cured the problem.

I've run through many batteries over the years, they don't last forever, they short, they get low on electrolite, they get over charged by alternators that have burnt voltage regulators, etc.. Have it tested by someone other than the ones you purchased it from, because they won't want you to get a free one if they can get away with telling you it's good. I've been told just to charge the battery up, and it did last for 2 months, until the warranty expired. I certainly wouldn't pay the dealer over 100$ to run a battery test, is that all that was done?
As for the engine oil light, maybe just call a dealership in another area and ask about it, they'll ask you for the serial #, and they should give you all the recalls if you haven't done that already.

Did you ever have trouble with it as far as the oil is concerned?
We had that flicker...and now the engine in our 99 with a 2.7 is dead.
Gonna be a nice $3000+ fix...new engine etc.
Let us know...
