94 Supreme Rear Plugs

I have looked around the forum for tips on access to the rear plugs. Similar to my 2000 GP GTP, I disconnected the Motor mount (single vs double on the gtp)and used a ratchet tie down to pull the motor forward.
There was microscopic movement. Not enough to reach the plugs
Am i missing something here??. is there another mount somwhere to disconnect, or do I need to just crank it with massive pressure.

I have the three front plugs done.
I have pulled the wire on one rear plug but cannot figure out how to get to the plugs,,, and now cannot put the original wire back on because it is too difficult to reach.
I now have no car to drive to work tomorrow so if you know how to reach the rears on a 94 supreme,,, I will be up all night until I can get at least my old wire plugged back in.
God help me!!

Unbolt the front dogbone mounts and rock the engine forward, leave it in neutral, brake on, block the engine forward, a 2x4 will fit between the engine and the fire wall, access now should be easier. 3.1 I asume.

Nah... he's got a 3.4 DOHC - the one dogbone mount as opposed to two was a dead giveaway.
The 3.4 was not blessed with the ability to tilt. If your 3.4 moves forward when you remove the dogbone it means your lower engine mounts are shot and need replacement.
To access the rear plugs on a 3.4 you can try a few different methods: I have heard some say they just removed the weatherstripping just above the rear head, and it gave just enough room to reach the plugs with am extension; the sheet metal above my rear plugs has been notched, so I can reach my plugs just as easily as I reach the front, I got the spark-plug socket from autozone with the 12" extention permanently attached.

iran out of patience last nigh so itssitting in the drive way.
Interestingly the 3.4 has a factory strut tower brace, which makes it extremely difficult to access the plugs. I feel that I will need to remove this brace, which will give me an xtra inch or so of room,, ulsess there are further suggestions.

This worked for me. Remove the strut support, remove the dogbone. I used a short length of chain, 1/2" X 3" bolt with flat washers and nut. Insert the bolt with flat washer through the end link of the chain, then through the engine lift bracket at the front corner of the engine. Install a flat washer and the nut, leave the nut just started on the bolt. Using one of the donebone attachment bolts, pin the chain at the dogbone support at the radiator support with as little chain slack as possible. Tighten the the nut until you can get a shot at the plugs.

No need to go through that even,
If you remove the strut tower, all you then need to do is pull off the black moulding strip right behind the strut brace. Rear plugs are now fairly easy to get to.

I would not think it would make a difference, mine was a convertible, but the extra inch I got pulling the engine forward was a big help. Just could not quite make it removing the strip and the strut support. Close, though.
