ca18de internals

What technical differences are there between the ca18de in S13 Silvia's and the ca18det in S13 silvia's?
Are the camshafts, crankshaft, pistons, conrod's, block, head, fuel pump and injectors the same? Or made out of the same material/process?
I've been looking everywhere for an answer to this question but no one seems to know. I read the ca18det workshop manual front to back and it doesn't state the specs. of the internals.
Also, the DET has a compression ratio of 8.5 : 1 and the DE has a ratio of 9.5 : 1, what is the differenciating factor between the two engine's the determines the different compression? Is it the clearance volume in the head?
Any Help Appreciated.
