Fan running all the time

My radiator fan is running all the time. It is keeping my temp down on cold. I tried unpluging it and starting car and fan was off (of coarse) then plugged it in while running and the fan seemed to run right. Is there a relay in the system that i may have sticking in the on position? I have changed the 2 sensors next to the thermostat and no change.

I think I may have found my problem. Has anyone seen this document or tried it.

Seems it will fix my problem. I also have a/c problems.

I have re thought my problem. It seems to be that my PCM is causing my fan to run n all the time and wont allow my a/c to work. Im thinking that if it thinks the car is running to hot (fan running high) that it will kill the a/c. Does this sound right to anyone?

Also is the PCM the same as the ECM
Powertrain control module=== Engine control module

Does anyone know where the eec/pcm is located?
Also do you have to program it if you change it?

its behind the cubby hole, yo have to take off the shifter area. The link above tells you how to get to the PCM.

no its just plug and play, just remember, if you have an auto you NEED to get a PCM from an Auto, the manual PCM's do not have the shiftpoints for the tranny programmed in it.

f you have manual get a PCM from a manual, you CAN use an auto PCM it will ignore the shiftpoints, but it has timings and fuel maps for a car that has different gearing/performance.

dO YOU HAVE ANY GOOD BRANDS TO GO WITH ON THE PCM. I WOULD LIKE A LITTLE PERFORMANCE UPGRADE, BUT NOT TO RADICAL. ALSO COST IS A FACTOR

The fan is supposed to come on whenever the AC is on. Anytime the temp gauge is above half the fan should come on. Check the fan relay to insure it is not stuck.

where is the fan relay. this was my first guess when the fan was running all the time.
