88Trooper Blower/relay

Ok, I have a 01 and 88 trooper. In all truth I love my 88 just as much or more than the 01. Anyway, I am having a problem with my blower motor on the 88 and need some help or advice. The blower motor will not come on immediately after startup - but it will come on usually after about 5-10min. I have had this problem for about three years and it comes and goes - right now it has decided to come and stay, and it is too cold for that. I have the Haynes wiring diagram - which is a joke - so I guess my question is - what is wrong with it? Is it a relay? Is it the wiring? I am a competent mechanic and I know it is not the blower or the Resistor block(already tested them). Please give any and all help you can - especially if someone has a useful wiring diagram of that circuit.
Thanks,
Jason

Have you replaced the fan switch? I had the same problem and thats what it turned out to be.

Thanks for the reply, I will try that. I guess I would really like a copy of the wiring diagram for this truck - even if that fixes it. Does have a copy I could download, or know where I can get one. I would even pay if I had to. Thanks, Jason

Last night I found it. Relay under the LF headlight - why put a relay for the Blower up there? Anyway, thanks, Jason
