Too Low

What's up guys long time no see. There is such a thing as too low. Here's my prob. My avenger, (I know it's not an eclipse, close enough though) is basically sitting on the wheels. I have almost no room between my wheel wells and my tires in the front. The camber is horrible and i'm guessing but I'm pretty sure that I'm about 3.5 - 4 inches lower in the front and 3 - 3.5 inches in the rear. The struts and springs I'm using are for a 95-99 eclipse (go ahead, laugh your a**es off, they were free and bolted right up). My ride has a v6 so I know that the problem is weight for the front springs. Do you guys think I could have the springs stiffened to increase the ride height .5 - 1 inch cause the poor thing rides way too soft. I stiffend the struts as much as possible which helped a little. Q # 2. Do you think that adjusting my camber will affect the ride height enough to help if at all. Thanks for your help guys cause the avenger forums need more techs like you guys.

no you can't have your springs stiffened or anything, you'll just have to buy new springs.

adjusting your camber won't change the ride height at all but it's a very good idea to get it fixed because you'll wear through a brand new set of tires within 7,000 miles. i've done it before and it sucks, let me tell you.

Deffinately adjust the camber if you are lowered that much. You'll have better handling... But I'd assume this is a show car anyways. Just get some Eibach Sport springs. It'll only lower it 1.5'' below stock.... but if you actually drive it, it shouldn't be any lower than that.
