Any one got a 68-72 Nova with PS and column shift automatic that has headers that fit without having to modify them for clearance? If so, what brand and size tubes/collector? Thanks

Hey,
Just wanted to know if you got your Flow-techs and had the same probs I did with the two tubes near steering box?

Mr. 27, I haven't got them on yet, they are still in the box, was hopeing to get some feed back so if I had to return them I still could. According to Holley's web site I should have no problem with them fitting PS and column linkage. I will let you know when I get them on, thanks

Do you have big block motor mounts or the small block ones? I swapped a 454 into my 71 Nova, but used the small block mounts and had to put small dents in some of the headers to keep them off the steering box. The big block mounts are slightly higher, and set the motor towards the passengers side about an inch, which gives you the clearance you would need to fit them perfectly. I used the small block ones so that the motor would fit under the stock hood, and add to a sleeper affect:

454 BBC under the hood.
The column linkage has nothing to do with it.
