in the idling one, first rev is to 3k, second is to 4k, then a slow build to 4k, then a few blips of the throttle

what's the difference between the 3.8's in 4th gen f-bodies and the 3.8's in gn's and gnx's? cuz my dad's gnx sounds mean as fuck... sorry to say but kc yours is too high pitched for my taste...

But the Camaro does sound freakishly high pitched, sorry but my 3.1 sounds meaner than that, now if it only worked..

I have, but it didnt sound as high pitched like yours did. You do know that Magnaflow isnt the only exhaust company right? :screwy:

the LS1 is a 346 ci v8.. and honestly i thought it sounded good.. for some reason though when you get it through a camera it sounds a little more high pitched than it does to our ears in person.. noticed that when i tried to make a vid of my car.. lol

*still cant find the wire i need to upload videos from my camera.. if anyone knows what i need.. lemme know.

3" magnaflow high flow cat (soon to be replaced with 3" dynomax bullet muffler)
3" magnaflow catback
3.42 LSD (was stock on some cars so it's not really a mod, more like an upgrade)
poly tranny mount
poly torque arm bushing
custom tune (a/f and spark tables adjusted, shift points raised, desired shift length decreased, fan turnon temp lowered, and other stuff I can't think of off the top of my head)

ngk tr55 plugs and taylor 8mm wires if you can really call that a mod lol

riding on v8 takeoff springs and shocks cuz I'm cheap and stock salad shooters with balding 245/50/16 h-rated falkens

Weight in video: !back seats, but added subs and amp... so around the same as stock

Dang nice setup. I wasl ike 'Dude mine doesn't do that..." but the intake/exhaust and the 3.42 LSD explain it. :) Nice mods man. Definately faster then stock as if you didn't know. how does the lsd feel compared to open?

open differential blows ass, although I did have some fun times doingburnouts with it, but it sucked hving 1 tire toasted and 3 fine

Can you whip your tail out easier with LSD or open? I got really squirrly today cause it rained.

LSD keeps it planted a LOOOOOOOOT better, and I got boxed stock LCAs that I installed yesterday afternoon that also make a real big difference IMO

Whats LCA? And if you tried could you get your tail to pop out if you gunned it?

lower control arms, and a few times yesterday and today I was actually tying to throw the tail out and had no luck

if its a digital camara you need a firewire

I DO fear the krinkled hood.

Well, I think the exhaust tone sounds pretty good, especially for a V6. Most V6 f-bodys aftermarket exhaust sounds very whinny and I don't know if I'm not hearing it but I don't hear all that much whine in Kasey's exhaust (his voice on the other hand :icon16: )

yea i know, but if i didn't make inappropriate comments about stuff that doesn't even matter, it just wouldn't feel right.

Directly from my tuner on a local site, said his tunes generally consist of:

Remap of the VE & maf tables-if applicible
Rev limiter adjustments
speed limiter raised
TM deleted-if applicible
!CAGS
delete any applicible codes necessary for passing emissions & such
tuning for idle, part & wot using various stock sensors as well as my w/b to verify & adjust fueling at wot
shift point adjustments for automatic cars
fan turn on/off point adjustments
timing adjustments to get max power


of course !CAGS doesn't apply to me, and theres some other stuff (that was off the top of his head) but thats a general idea

and I did.. but let's just say there were financial issues

oh and actually it'll probably sound a little worse and raspier without the cat, that's based on my friend's setup

raspey can be nice... just i hate high pitched noises... like weedeater type shit...
