Yea it's just like he says it's an $11,000 or now $16,000 dollar paint job option when you order a Saleen stang. It's BASF chromaflair paint.

That is so damn ugly!!!! I can't stand when people take a good car and make it so gawdy with stupid spoilers that stand 6ft. tall or they have 10,000 stickers in the back window or in this case they use that ugly ass paint that makes it look like the colors in my 4 year olds bottle of bubbles!!UGLY,UGLY,UGLY!!!!!!!!

Ohhh...thanks 351, I didn't even notice that til now. I agree to a point, but a Saleen is far from any of that. The proper color-shift paint like the BASF stuff and the real DuPont Mystic/Mystichrome paint are very sexy, especially in person. The cheap knockoff paint is crap. Of course, you could put a kid through a year of college with what that paint costs for materials....

Hey 306, I see what you mean, but you know the old saying " you can't polish a turd". Well, when you have a jem and you drop it in a puddle of crap, then even if you clean it up it still smells like crap. That color is UGLY!! I do love the 96 Cobra Mystique paint though, those cars are awesome. And no I would not want to even have to pay for the touch up paint for the front end. C-YA

Sorry 306, didn't mean to come off as a jerk, I just can't stand any copycat paint of the 96 Mystyque Cobra paint. I really hate when people go to Maaco and get $100 paint job and try to copy that paint (usually on an Escort, Geo...etc..etc.) and it looks like someone drank a bottle of bubbles and puked. I guess it's too much purple...I don't know, maybe I just like the black/green based paint on the 96. I know, I know, it's a Saleen with a great paint job. Sorry man, just can't do it.
