Fuel Pressure Regulator

Can someone please explain to me what it is the the Fuel Pressure Regulator is for, the location and how hard it is to change.....Thank You.

The fuel pressure regulator is located at the end of the fuel rails. You might be able to see it with the intake manifold on, but I think you need to take the manifold off.
